Full patch Angel pleads guilty to trafficking cocaine

A full-patch member of the White Rock Hells Angels pleaded guilty in Surrey Provincial Court Tuesday to possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Brent Douglas Milne, 51, will remain on bail pending a sentencing hearing on Sept. 23.

And his freedom may not be the only thing Milne loses — the B.C. government has filed a lawsuit to seize his home, three vehicles and the cash found by officers. Milne is fighting that

B.C. gang enforcement cops have uncovered another sophisticated underground pot growing bunker believed to be linked to the Hells Angels.

Sgt. Lindsey Houghton, of the Combined Forces Special Enforcement Unit, said investigators executed a search warrant at the property in the 27000-block of 56th Avenue in Langley over the weekend.

Bikers win small victory in long-running Nanaimo clubhouse court battle

A B.C. Supreme Court judge has ordered the B.C. government to rewrite some of its claims against the Nanaimo Hells Angels in a long-running civil suit over the bikers’ clubhouse.

Justice Barry Davies agreed with some of the Hells Angels’ concerns that the pleadings of the director of civil forfeiture were too vague or over-reaching, making it difficult for the bikers to defend themselves when the case finally goes to trial next March.

Abbotsford shooting victim an associate of accused in Bacon case

A young Abbotsford man gunned down Sunday was an associate of one of the accused killers of Red Scorpion gangster Jonathan Bacon.

Harpreet Singh Chahal, 25, was critically wounded in a targeted shooting on South Fraser Way at Emerson about 5:15 p.m. Sunday and died less than an hour later in hospital.

The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team confirmed Monday that Chahal was well-known to them and that the murder is gang-related.

The last East End Hells Angel serving time for convictions stemming from the massive E-Pandora investigation has been paroled.

John Virgil Punko, 47, was let out on statutory release last month, according to Parole Board of Canada documents just released to The Vancouver Sun.

The documents say that Punko, who was serving time for trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine, must reside in a halfway house or approved residence because of his risk of reoffending.

A Saskatoon Hells Angel was in hospital with serious head injury Sunday after riding his motorcycle off the highway and into a rock wall near Hope Sunday while driving home from three chapters’ 30th anniversary party in Langley.

A Hells Angels associate charged in a massive cocaine smuggling case has been denied bail in B.C. Supreme Court.

Justice Gregory Bowden read his decision Monday morning, denying Kevin Van Kalkeren his release pending a trial scheduled to begin in September 2014.

Four Canadian Hells Angels are in custody in Spain after allegedly attempting to smuggle 500 kilos of Colombia cocaine into the country on a sailboat.

Details of a multi-national drug investigation that ended in the arrests were provided Saturday in a news release by Spain’s interior ministry.
